Blessing of Pets
Our annual Blessing of Pets will take place on Sunday, October 7 near the end of the 10:00 AM service. Bring your pets (or a photo of your shy or uncontrollable pets) for this special blessing! We encourage children to bring their favorite stuffed puppy or kitty to also receive a blessing. It is always a panting, barking, meowing good time!
St. Paul’s – Feeding Program
Our next feeding at St. Paul’s is November 11, 2018. Several times a year, volunteers from St. Matthew’s purchase, prepare and serve the hungry at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. This is an amazing outreach program that St. Paul’s has been providing for many years. They depend on the help of other churches and organizations to provide this service.
There is a Sign-up sheet in our Fellowship Hall if you are interested in volunteering to purchase the food, prepare the meal and/or help serve the meal.
Future feeding dates in 2018: November 11
The Men’s Club meets as needed. Please check your Email regularly for notification of projects and meetings. Let us know if you would like to receive these emails.
Missions Committee – Thank you!
The St. Matthew’s Missions committee was able to provide backpacks and supplies for 24 students, grades K – 12. Thank you everyone for your generosity!
The next vestry meeting is Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 6:00 PM.
